I'm here to share a little secret about searching for art for your home: start with your phone. You may be surprised at the treasures.

We thought this was the one room in the house where we didn't need to any work. Well, we were wrong!

The first part of our dining room transformation was complete and that left the fun part of the project: painting!

We decided to keep it simple and include a dining table and chairs only to solve that problem. But would the room feel too empty?

Once the cabinets and appliances were installed, the finishing touches for the backsplash and light fixtures were added.

Why renovate a brand-new kitchen? It's much easier to make changes before all of our belongings were moved in.

It was a brand new house but a blank slate with walls all the same color...but not for long.

I referred to this project as "cosmetic kitchen upgrades" because I didn’t have to do a total renovation to this room in my house. 

When I first designed the room, I chose a dining room table that could be used for the occasional work-from-home day. Then Covid-19 hit.

This blog has been a personal goal of mine for the last two years, and after many (positive) life changes, now is the time to publish!
